The Most Exellent Zikr.

Assalam alaikum,
As you are aware, Zikr or the Remembrance of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, is one of [if not the] most important form of Ibadat or worship in Islam. There are many forms of Zikr such as Takbir, Tahmeed, Tahleel and Salaat ala Nabiyy Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam. Infact, others hold that all acts of Obedience to Allah's Commands amounts to Zikr.
The most exellent Zikr is ''La ilaha illa al-Allah''.....''La ilaha illa al-Allah Muhammad ur-Rasul-al-Allah''. Zikr is another name for purification. As Zakkat (a form of wealth tax in Islam ) purifies wealth and makes it lawful, similarly Zikr does the same in man's self. As the soap cleanses clothes, so does Zikr cleanses the heart. As fire eats away fuel, so does Zikr takes away the sins of a man ( who invokes Allah ). As the rain makes the withered grass green and alive, so does Zikr to man who engages in Zikr. What Light does to darkness, such does Zikr to Zakiruna.
Behold!! the benefits of Zikr are plenty, including but not limited to negation of Satanic thoughts.
