As salaamua alykum wa rehmatullah,
Tazzkiyah means purity of the heart and soul.

The method is to start the process with heart! There are 7 gates of heart which satan enters from

1.eyes
2.tongue
3.ears
4.stomach
5. private parts
6. hands
7. feet

General taubah should be carried out before doing anything.

Insha`Allah we will start with the eye;

6 things for eyes.

1. Taubah from the sins committed by the eye in the past with PRAN 4 conditions of tauba P=past sin R= remorse A= tauba for Allah azawajals sake N= never to committ sin again with the help from Allah

2. 40 days to refrain from sins of the eyes. I think it is best to refrain from different series/movies if you are aware that haraam may appear. The niyyah does count, if for example, for a school/college/university project you must watch a documentary or such; if you know for most or all of it to be haraam, refrain, if part of the video then see if it is possible to skip that part without seeing it or find an alternative video.

3. Do dhikr after every fardh salaah of 'La ilaha illa-Allahu', times 5; Firstly, one must have wudhu. Begin in a sitting posture as in prayer (qu'ud), the legs folded under the body. * - If the legs are crossed tailor-style, the vein in the juncture of the left leg behind the knee must be grasped with the big toe. This posture dispels evil insinuations and also dissolves fat around the area of the heart, which is the abode of the "sneaking whisperer" (al-khannaas), one of the forms of the devil - *.

The physical and spiritual direction of your sight during this dhikr should be so that (with your eyes shut) you are picturing the darkness within your heart leaving you whilst the head moves from the left cheek resting on the left shoulder blade. The head is then swung (in the motion of an arc) downwards across the chest, and a pause is necessary when the face looks upwards. During this movement you must utter 'La ilaha'. Then as the syllable 'ill' is voiced, the heart is thrown or dropped rather forcefully downward in the direction of the heart - here you must envisage the Noor of Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala entering your heart. The recitation concludes by raising the head again, looking upwards as 'Allahu' is said. The 5th time you have carried this motion out, you must further conclude with 'Muhammad-ur-Rasoolullah (sall-Allau 'alayhi wa sallam).

4. At night pray 2 rakah nafl for gratitude (shukrana)

5. Ask yourself after nafl if desire of seeing haram is still there? if YES then cry and ask Allah azawajal for help in this matter and that you have given your eyes to Allah azawajal 'my eyes are with you' remember condition is to cry if you cannot cry make a crying face.

6. 313 times darood shareef standing up 'salalahu ala Muhammadi nin nabiyil umiyi wa ala aali hi wasalim. This should be done after Isha.

if during the course of 40 days one committs haram with the eye for eg. after 10 days sin is committed then 40 days have to restart until 40 are completed in one go.

If link broken further 6 things:

1. repent with 4 condns of taubah (with PRAN)
2.read to rakah nafl of taubah
3.give sadkah in the path of Allah azawajal, give away something precious
4.read 1200 darood shareef standing.
5.do istigfar 70 times
6.fast for 1 day

40 days need to be completed consecutively!

This is taken from some brothers and sisters of Kanz ul huda who are under the guidance of Pir Saqib bin Iqbal al Shaami sahib! May Allah subhana wa taala always keep them guided and grant them a lot of success and happiness in this duniya and in the hereafter!
